The annual Spooky Paddle Fundraiser Event will start with a paddle out to the island where we will hold a costume contest. Prizes will be awarded for Best Overall (must incorporate boat and PFD into costume), best personal costume, and best decorated boat.  Everyone will get an individually wrapped Halloween treat--though I may have a few tricks too!

Once the sun is down, we will paddle around the island to Spooky Creek, where we will turn off all but our headlamps and take turns traversing the creek to see who can find the lost paddlers. If everyone survives the creek, we will paddle back across the lake in full dark, lit only by the moon and the lights on our boats. A portion of all rental proceeds and all donations from boat owners will go to benefit Trinity Coalition and the Trinity River National Paddling Trail.

If you need a boat:
$50 per person for boat, vest, lights, and snacks. We have both singles and tandem boats available (same price per person). No experience necessary. To reserve click Here

If you have your own:
$10 suggested per person if you have your own equipment (this is a donation to Trinity Coalition and is tax deductible) PFD and stern light required. Headlamp suggested for best spooky experience.
This is a guided trip with an ACA certified Instructor Guide. Wear water-friendly shoes (You WILL get your feet wet) and clothing or swim wear that can get wet.

Come in costume and decorate your boat. There will be prizes for the best costume, best boat decoration, and best overall.
Price per person and includes boat, paddle, vest, and guide. You must supply your own boat decorations and costumes.

If the weather does not look good, we might shift the event to Friday or Sunday,  Call if you have any questions: 214 478-7856.
